Marketing Specialist - Federal Contracting & Events

We are seeking a Marketing Manager with 3–5+ years of experience to lead/organize marketing initiatives across our organization, including support for subsidiaries, joint ventures (JVs), and shared services in the construction, FF&E, and IT sectors. We require a highly organized, self-driven creative professional who will roll up their sleeves to design, develop, and deliver compelling marketing materials that reflect the unique identity of each business line. This role is central to ensuring brand alignment, effective conference and event support, and the development of targeted marketing materials that reflect the unique goals of each business line.

The Marketing Manager will take ownership of creative deliverables, collaborate across departments, and drive marketing strategies tailored to the federal contracting space. While not directly supporting proposal submissions, this role plays a critical part in how we show up, visually and strategically, across public- and private-sector engagements.

Responsibilities:

· Lead the planning, design, and execution of marketing collateral including capability statements, event banners, org charts, one-pagers, and brand assets.

· Manage end-to-end conference support including collateral prep, SWAG coordination, booth assets, and outbound logistics.

· Serve as a brand steward across all marketing materials, ensuring consistency across sectors and JV/subsidiary branding.

· Collaborate with BD teams and shared services to determine marketing needs for upcoming pursuits, events, and partner presentations.

· Maintain and update asset trackers to ensure timely and organized delivery of marketing materials.

· Manage website content updates and assist with social media coordination, in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

· Attend marketing, business development, and JV meetings as needed, capturing next steps and ensuring task completion.

· Manage relationships with external vendors, including printers and freelance designers when needed.

· Lead efforts in organizing digital file systems (Egnyte, SharePoint) for streamlined access to marketing materials.

· 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in marketing, preferably in a federal contracting or professional services environment.

· This is a "player-coach" role, you will both lead marketing coordination and personally produce creative materials

· Proficient in creating materials using Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign and Illustrator); Canva proficiency also valued.

· Comfortable juggling multiple active requests and can shift gears between project management and production tasks.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and SharePoint; experience with Egnyte or similar cloud-based storage a plus.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and visual.

· Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

· Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.

Preferred:

· Experience supporting marketing for federal proposals or working in a BD/proposal development environment.

· Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and government contracting terminology is a plus.

· Working knowledge of conference planning or tradeshow logistics.
