Quick Facts Location: 30 Locust Street, Northampton, MA 01060 Start Date: 01/08/2027 End Date: 04/09/2027 Shift: Night (3x24-hour shifts, 19:00 – 07:00) Hours/week: Variable based on weekend call coverage Employment Type: Locum License/Certifications: MA license, BLS, DEA, EPIC EMR proficiency Experience: 1+ year in Gastroenterology Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $3,177.72 Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Provide call coverage for a hospital-based GI practice, mainly adult patients Perform upper and lower endoscopies, including colonoscopies, with preferred experience in EUS and ERCP Conduct roundings and coordinate patient care within the hospital setting Collaborate with hospital staff and support staff during scheduled shifts Support hospitalist team by managing patient procedures and consults What You Need Board Certification in Gastroenterology MA state medical license or willingness to obtain BLS and DEA certification Minimum 1 year of relevant experience Strong procedural skills and ability to work independently during call shifts About the Assignment Join a dedicated team at a prominent hospital in Northampton, MA, providing adult GI services during scheduled weekend call duties.
