Facility Coordinator

Facility Coordinator – Queens College Location: Queens College, CUNY. We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Facility Coordinator to oversee athletic and recreational facility rentals and daily setup operations. The role ensures all rentals and scheduled activities run smoothly, safely, and in accordance with facility policies. Responsibilities Oversee facility rentals from start to finish, including preparation, on‑site supervision, and post‑event cleanup. Set up and break down soccer and practice fields according to event requirements. Open and close facilities as scheduled and manage the closing of the tennis bubble when required. Remain on‑site during rentals to monitor activities, address issues, and ensure compliance with rental agreements, safety standards, and operational guidelines. Maintain facilities by cleaning, inspecting fields and equipment before and after use, and reporting maintenance or safety concerns. Provide professional and courteous service as the on‑site point of contact. Qualifications High School Diploma and at least 1 year of college experience. Experience in facilities operations, event support, or athletic field management preferred. Dependable, organized, able to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on rental schedules. Physical ability to lift, move equipment, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong sense of accountability, attention to detail, and calm problem‑solving skills. Compensation Hourly rate: $17.00 – $19.00 (exact amount depends on experience and qualifications).
