Facilities Coordinator

$28 - $30 per hour

Adecco Creative & Marketing is partnering with a global leader in luxury goods and premium lifestyle brands to recruit a Facilities Coordinator / Maintenance Technician for their New York corporate offices. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, dependable professional with facilities, maintenance, trade school, or technical school experience who enjoys problem-solving and keeping a workplace running smoothly. The ideal candidate is proactive, comfortable working independently, and able to manage a variety of maintenance and repair tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment. The role's payrate range is $28-30hr and the schedule is 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine walkthroughs of office floors, conference rooms, pantries, restrooms, and common areas to identify maintenance needs and ensure facilities are operating efficiently. Respond to maintenance tickets and complete tasks such as furniture assembly, hanging artwork, minor repairs, painting, patching walls, replacing light bulbs, and general upkeep. Coordinate and oversee external vendors for plumbing, cleaning, painting, preventative maintenance, extermination, and other facility-related services. Serve as a liaison with building management and engineering teams to address facility issues and ensure timely resolution. Monitor and maintain office equipment including coffee machines, water filtration systems, and pantry appliances. Assist with office moves, workstation setups, furniture relocation, and space reconfigurations. Support preventative maintenance initiatives to maintain a safe, clean, and functional workplace. Escort vendors and service providers during scheduled maintenance visits. Respond appropriately to emergency maintenance situations while following company safety protocols. Assist with special projects and additional facilities-related duties as assigned. Qualifications 2–4 years of facilities, maintenance, handyman, building operations, or related experience. Technical school, trade school, or vocational training is highly preferred. Working knowledge of basic tools, repairs, painting, patching, furniture assembly, and general maintenance tasks. Experience working with work order or ticketing systems preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple requests. Professional communication skills and a customer-service mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience coordinating with external vendors and service providers. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks throughout the workday.
