Job Details:

• Serve as First and/or Second Assist in the Operating Room for orthopedic surgical procedures
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients
• Document patient encounters including admissions, brief operative, progress, event, procedure, and discharge notes
• Enter, review, and update patient orders
• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to facilitate safe and appropriate patient disposition
• Cover inpatient joint reconstruction, spine, podiatry, and acute fracture care
• Per diem schedule with mostly weekend and night coverage with some weekday coverage
• Board certification (NCCPA) required
• Current or eligible Connecticut PA license required
• Minimum two years of PA orthopedic surgery experience required

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
