Stelvio Group is partnering with an established organization seeking a Project Accounting Coordinator to join its project finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance or accounting professional looking to develop their experience within a project-driven environment.

\n

Working closely with Project Controllers and Project Managers, you’ll provide financial and administrative support across multiple projects, helping ensure invoicing, cost tracking, reporting, and financial documentation remain accurate and up to date.

\n

Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Support Project Controllers with customer invoicing and accounts payable activities.
\n
• Assist with project requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
\n
• Maintain vendor invoice records and ensure information aligns with project budgets and contracts.
\n
• Organize and maintain project financial documentation, including budgets, forecasts, change orders, invoices, and cost reports.
\n
• Enter and maintain project financial data within internal systems and Excel spreadsheets.
\n
• Support the tracking of committed costs, actual expenditure, and budget variances.
\n
• Create and maintain project cost codes within time-tracking systems.
\n
• Assist with financial reconciliations between internal systems and project reports.
\n
• Support the preparation of regular project cost reports and monthly or quarterly financial reviews.
\n
• Maintain accurate and organized financial and contractual records.
\n
• Provide general administrative support to the wider project finance team.
\n

What We're Looking For

\n

\n
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration , or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
\n
• Ideally 1–2 years of experience within accounting, finance, project support, or a similar administrative/financial position.
\n
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
\n
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
\n
• Comfortable handling confidential financial information.
\n
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across project and finance teams.
\n

Preferred Experience
