Job Responsibilities

• Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create individualized therapy plans that support them in achieving their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Use evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living tasks.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work in partnership with OTs, PTs, STs, medical staff, and nurses to deliver comprehensive and thoughtful care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Instruct individuals and their families on therapeutic techniques that facilitate ongoing progress at home.
• Monitor Progress and Document Outcomes: Observe clinical improvements and modify treatment approaches as necessary to keep patients on track.

Education

• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Continuing education or postgraduate certifications are encouraged and readily supported.

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
