Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Bring your expertise as a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to a dynamic school-based setting, making a difference in the lives of students from August 2026 through June 2027. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a supportive educational environment near Concord, NC, providing essential SLP services throughout the academic year (37.5 hours per week).

What you’ll bring:

• North Carolina SLP license in good standing (CCC-SLP preferred)
• Minimum of one year of experience providing speech therapy services in school settings
• Familiarity with school speech-language caseloads, including evaluation, IEP development, and progress monitoring
• Proficiency with ECATS (Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and school staff

Your responsibilities:

• Conduct student evaluations, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, and document progress
• Support students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, ensuring access to educational opportunities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, attend IEP meetings, and provide training or support to school personnel as needed
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Engage in ongoing communication with parents and caregivers regarding student progress
