Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Holds an active North Carolina SLP license (CCC-SLP required)
• Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with ECATS (Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System)
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
• Organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in developing and implementing IEPs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evaluations, screenings, and therapy for students as outlined in IEPs and referral processes
• Participate meaningfully as a member of IEP teams, contributing to assessment and goal-setting
• Maintain thorough documentation of services, progress, and compliance in ECATS
• Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support students’ learning and development
• Adhere to local, state, and federal guidelines for school-based SLP services
• Engage in Zoom interviews as part of the hiring process

This full-time contract position is scheduled to begin tentatively in August 2026 and continue through early June 2027, totaling 37.5 hours weekly. School-based assignments and locations will be determined.
