Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a passionate and experienced Physical Therapist to work with students ranging from PreK through 12th grade within a supportive, contract-based school environment. This role runs from August 10, 2026, through June 1, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. This is a great opportunity for a dedicated, licensed North Carolina PT committed to fostering student independence and improving physical abilities.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver tailored physical therapy services within a school setting, supporting students with diverse needs across all grade levels.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans that encourage functional mobility and access to the curriculum.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school compliance standards, including ECATS system usage.
• Adapt therapeutic interventions to meet the age, ability, and learning environment of each student.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for program development.

Desired Background:

• Active Physical Therapy license in North Carolina.
• Experience with ECATS or similar education documentation systems preferred.
• Previous school-based PT experience highly valued; ability to work independently and as part of a team essential.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working with a wide age range, from preschoolers to high school seniors.
