Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a vital role serving students across PreK to 12th grade as a school-based Physical Therapist within a welcoming educational environment near Concord, NC. This full-time contract position (37.5 hours per week, anticipated dates: August 2026 – June 2027) is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Licensed NC PT eager to make a difference in young lives. While official offers begin July 1st, interviews are underway now, providing you with a head start for the upcoming school year. All interviews will be conducted via Zoom for your convenience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid and current North Carolina Physical Therapy license
• Prior experience delivering PT services in a school setting, ideally across diverse grade levels (PreK–12)
• Familiarity and hands-on experience with ECATS
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, students, and families
• Ability to adapt therapy to meet individual student needs in various educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized physical therapy plans for students
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to integrate therapy strategies into daily activities
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines, particularly within ECATS
• Support students’ physical development and access to curriculum, working across multiple school locations as assigned
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations for student growth
