Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a contracted Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position offers the chance to provide school-based OT services in a supportive educational environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in school settings, excel in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and demonstrate a commitment to helping students achieve their fullest potential. While the final worksite within the area will be determined at a later date, interviews are being conducted now, with offers expected after July 1st.

Qualifications:

• Current and active Occupational Therapist license in North Carolina
• Previous experience providing OT services in a school setting
• Proficiency with ECATS system
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Ability to adapt to a diverse school population
• Detail-oriented and organized in maintaining compliance with documentation and timelines
• Experience with IEP development and collaborative planning

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring to students
• Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student access and success
• Maintain all required documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements
• Support students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional skill development
• Attend IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
