Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact in the educational setting by providing school-based physical therapy services to students from PreK through 12th grade during the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract opportunity spans August 10, 2026, to June 1, 2027, and offers a dynamic environment where your expertise will help children reach their full potential. While the exact location within the district will be determined, you’ll work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success and promote functional mobility in the classroom.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid, active Physical Therapist license in North Carolina
• Prior experience delivering PT services within a school setting
• Direct knowledge of ECATS or similar school-based documentation systems
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage a caseload spanning PreK–12th grade
• Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable navigating diverse school environments
• Previous experience with IEP teams and goal setting is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students’ physical therapy needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized PT plans
• Maintain accurate records and comply with documentation requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings to advocate for student needs
• Educate school staff and families on interventions and home programs
• Adapt delivery to meet a range of developmental stages and abilities
• Communicate regularly with school personnel and parents
