Technical Sales Rep

Technical Sales ProfessionalOur client is an international corporation that manufactures specialized construction and industrial equipment. This custom engineered equipment is primarily used on high rise buildings as permanent access fixtures.They are currently seeking to hire a Technical Sales professional to cover the entire territory mentioned above, but focusing primarily on the Chicago region which represents 85% of their growth potential, and where they are already well established. The sales approach must be solutions oriented, selling custom-engineered systems to General Contractors, Building Owners, Architects and Engineering firms in a rather long sales cycle. This Territory Manager will develop and maintain communications between the company’s systems design, engineering, estimating, and installations staff and the customers’ design and construction teams. It will be required to make direct contact with potential customers, introduce the company to prospects, and sell its products and systems.Qualifications:Relevant training/education background & level.Some relevant experience in selling technical solutions in the same industry (skyscraper construction) would be useful, but a person without experience and the willingness to learn and be trained to become a full-fledged sales professional would be preferred.Understanding of construction specs, drawings and bids, payment terms, insurance, and facility and maintenance risk practices would be an asset.Fluent in Digital lead and opportunity management.Located in the territory and willing to travel as required for their duties.Why is This a Great Opportunity:This is ideal for a fresh grad who has decided to have a career in Sales, and who is seeking a position where they will be fully trained and where they can grow year after year, and quickly rise to a 6 figure yearly income.
