Strategic Program Manager

Title: Strategic Program/Project Manager Duration: 6 months, possible extensions Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Interview Process: 2–3 steps via Video/Teams Dress Code: Business Casual Remote Work and Onsite Expectations: Remote work is acceptable, remote is ok, Remote OK – Some onsite/travel required Equipment shipping available for candidates located 2+ hours driving distance from the office. Job Description Summary The Senior Project Manager (Sr. PM) is responsible for the successful analysis, initiation, planning, execution, and closeout of programs and projects as assigned by the Director, PMO, or their designee. As per hiring manager, this resource will support both Data and Business App projects. For Data & Interoperability, this includes data projects such as analytics dashboards, regulatory requirements, and AI chatbots or agents. Business Apps, this includes Revenue Cycle and HR applications projects. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information System, Information Technology, or related technical field required. Master’s degree in a related field preferred. Previous Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of project management experience leading information technology projects, including requesting/securing approval to start projects through project closeout. Experience with all phases of project management, with demonstrated success across a variety of project types (construction, research, infrastructure, clinical applications, business applications, products) required. Proficiency in both theoretical and practical aspects of project management, including tools and techniques (e.g., project planning, risk/issue management, governance, cost/benefit analysis, project change controls) Complex project implementations, working with cross-functional teams of stakeholders and technical specialists, managing vendors, system integrators, or system implementers as part of large-scale projects Presenting to executive-level steering committees and governance groups Demonstrated ability to comprehend and summarize key discussions, decisions, and action items Ability to drive project outcomes and accelerate within reasonable time Experience with implementing HR, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, ERP, and Timekeeping applications Ability to understand integrations between multiple IS systems within the Healthcare space Budget management of project financials from start to finish (budgeting, purchase order and invoice management, forecasts) Oversight in data integrations between different software systems and applications Managing projects that involve data warehousing, data analytics, and reports/dashboard build Business analyst knowledge in capturing data requirements and other design specifications related to integrating systems Must have strong project management skills beyond simple tracking and reporting: enforce decisions, hold resources accountable, drive the project forward to completion Preferred Experience: Program or project management experience in delivering business applications, such as HR systems, Financial systems, and Marketing systems Project or program management experience within healthcare systems Familiarity with HR processes and terminology Familiarity with Data processes and terminology Experience implementing AI applications or AI features RFI and RFP vendor evaluations and vendor selections For information on benefits, equal opportunity employment, and location‑specific applicant notices, click here At SPECTRAFORCE, we are committed to maintaining a workplace that ensures fair compensation and wage transparency in adherence with all applicable state and local laws.
