- Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and general ledger activity
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reporting packages, and supporting schedules
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff through coaching, training, and performance management
- Partner cross-functionally with operational and finance leaders to improve reporting accuracy and business performance
- Support external audit processes and coordinate requests with auditors
- Drive process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, scalability, and strengthening internal controls
- Assist with technical accounting matters, policy implementation, and compliance with U.S. GAAP
- Support special projects including system implementations, integrations, acquisitions, and operational initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership or supervisory exposure
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Experience working within a multi-entity or complex business environment preferred
- Ability to analyze financial data and communicate insights effectively to leadership
- Strong systems proficiency, including advanced Excel skills and ERP experience
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Proven ability to improve processes, prioritize competing deadlines, and work collaboratively across teams
