Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting thorough consultations with patients to evaluate their physical condition and address specific symptoms.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunction through assessments, and developing tailored treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Instructing patients on effective therapeutic exercises while providing modifications as needed to accommodate individual abilities.
• Implementing hands-on techniques, such as therapeutic massage and stimulation, to promote healing and reduce pain.
• Guiding patients in the safe and effective use of mobility equipment, including wheelchairs and walkers, to enhance independence.
• Maintaining detailed patient records, tracking progress towards rehabilitation milestones, and adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding at-home exercises and self-care strategies between sessions.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining patient documentation.
• Flexibility and a problem-solving mindset to adapt to varying patient needs and treatment scenarios.

Preferred Experience

While fresh graduates are welcome, having a minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in a rehabilitation setting is preferred. Experience in pediatric therapy or geriatric care is a plus, given our clinic's diverse patient base. Familiarity with modalities like ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and manual therapy techniques will also enhance treatment efficacy.

Compensation and Benefits
