Page Field (FMY), an FAA-designated reliever airport, provides services to general and business aviation and accommodated more than 160,000 aircraft operations in 2025. Base Operations at Page Field is an award-winning, fixed-based operator and has been recognized for its customer service and facilities. Terminal Expansion projects are currently underway at RSW to improve the airport travel experience by consolidating the security checkpoints, adding concession space and providing passengers more amenities and options. In addition, a new Concourse E is being constructed with 14 gates, as well as other terminal, landside and airside improvements. The Position The anticipated hourly starting rate for the ideal candidate is between $31.26 and $37.51 We are looking for an energetic, collaborative, and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to become the primary face of our candidate experience. Here are the core ways you will guide candidates and build the team for the Lee County Port Authority: Key Responsibilities Coordinate, and execute our full-lifecycle recruitment and hiring workflows within our Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to post positions, screen incoming applications, and keep candidates excited and informed at every step Provide support and guidance to department heads and hiring managers by coordinating and attending panel interviews, scheduling logistical details, preparing comprehensive interview packets, and tracking candidates Facilitate and oversee pre-employment onboarding workflows. You'll initiate background screenings, drug tests, reference checks, and physicals, ensuring a highly professional and welcoming transition from the moment an offer is accepted to their first-day orientation. Maintain, audit, and organize physical and electronic filing systems for new personnel Minimum Qualifications A valid Florida driver’s license within 30 days of hire A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) A minimum of two years of experience in administrative support, human resources, recruiting, or talent acquisition An equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties effectively may be substituted Proficient level knowledge with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office Suite Must successfully pass a criminal background screening, drug test, and meet the requirements to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge, through the SIDA training process and TSA Security Threat Assessment Emergency Response/Recovery Activities Lee County Port Authority personnel are designated by tier levels and may be called upon to assist with an emergency or unforeseen event at any time.
