The role ensures compliance with safety regulations, provides training, engages workforce, and supports environmental compliance. Responsibilities Monitors and evaluates the workplace to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations. Conducts surveillance at job sites, providing feedback to workers, leadership, and the safety team on good practices, improvement areas, and corrective actions. Provides training to workforce on GDIT, local, state, federal, and NAVSEA policies relevant to each installation. Obtains and maintains access to a variety of private shipyards and government installations. Assists waterfront workforce and team leaders with environmental compliance such as tracking usage and emissions of hazardous substances. Opens to independent operation and contributes to process improvements to better protect workforce and enhance customer expectations. Qualifications Education: AS/AA degree or equivalent experience. Experience: 3+ years of related experience. Microsoft Office familiarity. Good communication, time management, knowledge of OSHA, local occupational safety and environmental regulations. US citizenship required. Location: customer site. Compensation and Benefits The likely hourly rate for this position is between $26.83 - $33.35.
