Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and history of mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to clients’ specific needs, goals, and preferences using evidence-based approaches.

• Implement therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address clients' unique situations.

• Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on their evolving needs and outcomes.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure integrated care for all clients.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records following legal and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations, participate in team meetings, and seek professional development opportunities.

• Advocate for clients within the healthcare system, addressing the stigma around mental health issues and promoting awareness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our client base is diverse and may include homeless populations, refugees, survivors of domestic abuse, and those seeking support during times of crisis. Your empathetic approach will be crucial in helping clients navigate their challenges and work towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
