Assistant Controller

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Assistant Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $95,000 to $115,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead financial reporting activities by supporting month end quarter end and year end close processes.
• Review financial results account reconciliations and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze financial performance and investigate variances to provide meaningful insights for management.
• Partner with operational and business leaders to support budgeting forecasting and strategic decision making.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes internal controls and financial visibility across the organization.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor degree in accounting finance or a related field.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting principles revenue recognition standards and financial analysis practices.
• Possess experience with financial reporting account reconciliations budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Maintain advanced Excel skills and proficiency with enterprise resource planning systems and reporting tools.
• Support audits internal controls and process improvement initiatives within a professional business environment.
