Your role is straightforward but extremely important:

You won’t be expected to conduct full interviews or explain every detail of the opportunity. Your primary responsibility is helping interested applicants successfully move through the scheduling process.

  Your Main Goal: Get Interested Candidates Scheduled

As a  Remote Phone Booker / Appointment Scheduler , you’ll help keep our recruiting pipeline active and organized.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Make outbound calls to candidates who have already applied or expressed interest

• Introduce yourself in a friendly and professional manner

• Confirm the applicant is still interested in learning more

• Explain basic scheduling and interview-process information

• Help candidates select available appointment times

• Schedule career overviews and interviews

• Confirm upcoming appointments

• Send reminders when appropriate

• Follow up with applicants who haven’t completed the next step

• Reconnect with candidates who missed an appointment

• Assist with rescheduling

• Communicate through phone, email, and text when appropriate

• Maintain accurate notes from candidate conversations

• Record call outcomes

• Update applicant statuses

• Maintain organized follow-up lists

• Keep recruiting calendars current

• Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers

Your success helps turn applicant interest into completed interviews.

  Warm Applicant Leads — No Random Cold Calling

You won’t spend your day calling random phone numbers trying to convince strangers to apply.

You’ll primarily connect with people who have already:

• Submitted an application

• Responded to a job advertisement

• Expressed interest in a career opportunity

• Started the recruiting process

• Scheduled previously but need to reschedule

• Completed an earlier step and need assistance moving forward

  What a Typical Call Looks Like

A typical conversation might be simple:

You contact an applicant who recently expressed interest, introduce yourself, confirm they’re still interested, and help them select an available time for the next step.

You may also:

• Confirm the date and time of an appointment

• Explain how the virtual appointment works

• Help the candidate locate scheduling information

• Answer basic process questions

• Help them reschedule if their original time no longer works

• Direct detailed job-specific questions to a recruiter or hiring manager

You’re there to guide the scheduling process—not conduct the full interview.

This is a 100% remote, independent contractor opportunity with American Income Life / Globe Life. Compensation is commission-based and performance-driven; this is not an hourly or salaried position.

Candidates selected to move forward should be prepared to:
