What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality emergency care for a diverse patient population including infants to end-of-life care
• Manage patients with acuity levels ranging from Medical/Surgical, Stepdown, to ICU, including trauma stabilization and transfers
• Perform vent management, critical care drips, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and measure cardiac strips
• Assist with procedures such as splinting, drains, chest tubes, hemodynamic line management, and administering TPA for strokes
• Ensure patient safety and comfort through effective assessment and intervention
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including hospitalists, ED physicians, and ancillary staff
• Utilize EMR systems for accurate charting and documentation

What You Need

Required:

• Valid RN license
• 2+ years of ER or ED experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB certifications
• Proficiency in vent management, cardiac rhythm analysis, and emergency procedures
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to arrival

Preferred:

• Stroke experience (including TPA administration)
• Experience with critical care equipment and medications
• Strong assessment and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
