Overview Bouchée Patisserie Manager. The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Bouchée Patisserie Manager to join the only Forbes Five‑Star Hotel in Texas. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences. The Bouchée Patisserie Manager will be responsible for managing the team and the guest experience of Bouchée Patisserie. Responsibilities Oversee all day‑to‑day operations of the Patisserie. Understand hourly positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence or during peak volume periods. Oversee departmental scheduling and regularly review staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocate sound financial/business decision making; demonstrate honesty/integrity; lead by example. Identify the developmental needs of others and coach, mentor, or otherwise help others to improve their knowledge or skills. Ensure compliance with all food & beverage policies, standards and procedures by training, supervising, follow‑up and hands‑on management. Handle guest problems and complaints. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a store manager or an assistant store manager in a coffee or bakery operation, preferably in a luxury setting. Possess strong knowledge of coffee, tea, and retail/counter‑service operations and continually train the team to stay relevant. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required. Physical demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and prolonged extended periods of standing.
