Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A relief pharmacist opportunity is available at a 25-bed critical access hospital located in a small town near the WA/OR border. This role involves per diem coverage, providing an excellent chance to gain diverse experience in a close-knit healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmacy services during scheduled shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with pharmacy technician support.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure accurate dispensing and medication safety.
• Utilize Cerner electronic health records and Pyxis medication management systems.
• Participate in a brief training period prior to coverage dates to become familiar with hospital protocols and systems.
• Deliver quality pharmaceutical care without on-call duties.

Required Qualifications:

• Current pharmacist license with at least 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience.
• Familiarity with hospital operations and medication distribution.
• Ability to work independently during assigned coverage days.
• Comfortable using Cerner and Pyxis systems or similar platforms.

Schedule Highlights:

• Coverage needed on specific dates in July: 16, 17, 20, 23, 24, 30, 31
• Coverage days in August: 6, 7, 14, 15, 20, 21, 24, 25
• Fridays throughout September
• Shift hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• No call responsibilities
