Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Business Support Analyst to join their team. As a Business Support Analyst, you will be part of the Mortgage Operations Department supporting the Retail and Correspondent Desk teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to operational excellence, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Business Support Analyst

Location: Glen Allen, VA Pay Rate: $25.00

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

What's the Job?

• Support mortgage loan operations by processing updates and lock changes accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in testing, validation, and documentation of pricing and eligibility rule updates.
• Support reporting, tracking, and audit activities to ensure transparency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with internal partners to resolve issues and facilitate smooth loan pipeline management.
• Support lock maintenance activities including relocks, extensions, rate changes, and renegotiations.

What's Needed?

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Basic math skills including working with fractions, percentages, and calculations related to pricing and lock scenarios.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior experience in mortgage operations or related fields is preferred; familiarity with Empower, Encompass, or PollyEx is a plus.
