Job Title: Production Team Member / Assembler – 1st Shift

Job Description

The Production Team Member / Assembler supports all stages of manufacturing precast beams, hollow core products, beams and columns, and Double T concrete forms. You interpret blueprints and construction drawings, measure and mark materials, and build structural components according to established guidelines. You use hand and power tools to assemble concrete forms, install rebar and other materials, and help ensure each product meets safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble concrete forms used to pour structural precast products, including beams, columns, hollow core, and Double T forms.
• Install rebar, plates, mesh, and foam insulation in accordance with construction plans and specifications.
• Accurately read and use a tape measure to mark and cut materials to precise dimensions.
• Interpret blueprints and construction drawings to ensure structural integrity and correct assembly of components.
• Operate hand tools and power tools commonly used in concrete construction and general production work.
• Stress and secure rebar strands to achieve required structural stability in precast products.
• Follow pre-established instructions, guidelines, and procedures to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets.
• Work effectively in an outdoor production environment throughout all four seasons.
• Lift and move materials weighing 50–75 pounds on a regular basis.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle tools and equipment safely.
• Support team members and communicate effectively to complete daily production goals.
• Work flexible hours, including occasional extended days and sporadic weekends, as production needs require.

Essential Skills

• Experience in construction, concrete work, or general production environments.
• Proficiency using a tape measure accurately for measuring and marking materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools commonly used in concrete construction.
• Familiarity with installing rebar, concrete forms, and related construction components.
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds regularly throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions and primarily outdoors.
• Willingness and ability to work 1st shift with 8–10-hour days and occasional weekend work as needed.
• Capability to meet company safety, quality, and productivity expectations.
• Ability to pass a drug test and physical examination, including screening for THC.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous construction experience is highly valued and can support higher compensation within the range.
• Supervisory or team lead experience is beneficial and may justify placement at the upper end of the pay range.
• Experience in rebar installation, concrete forming, or construction labor is advantageous.
• Comfort working with precast concrete products such as beams, columns, hollow core, and Double T forms.
• Interest in professional development and training opportunities related to construction or manufacturing.

Work Environment

This is a full-time 1st shift role with a typical schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the possibility of working until 5:00 p.m. on some days. You can expect to work about 50 hours per week, with 8–10 hour days and occasional sporadic weekend shifts as needed to meet production demands. The role is primarily outdoors at a precast concrete production facility, and you will work in all four seasons and all types of weather conditions. You will regularly handle concrete materials, rebar, forms, and related construction components, and you will use a variety of hand tools and power tools commonly found in concrete construction and general production environments. The position requires frequent lifting of 50–75 pounds and working safely around heavy materials and equipment in an active manufacturing yard.

This is a Permanent position based out of Brodhead, WI.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $41600.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
