Your future role at a glance Location: Hoffman Estates, IL Facility: Ascension Saint Alexius Specialty: Perinatal Schedule: Day shift | Full-time Salary: $94,223.00 - $133,015.21 per year How you'll make an impact in this role Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate educational activities related to perinatal nursing clinical areas. Serve as a strategic consultant for perinatal clinical performance initiatives to create, implement, and evaluate multi-faceted competency-based programs, delivery mechanisms, and clinical performance. Lead the assessment, design, implementation, and evaluation of multi-faceted, competency-based perinatal nursing professional development programs, including transition-to-practice programs in alignment with ANCC/NPD standards, to optimize clinical performance, competency development, role transition, and professional growth of perinatal caregivers. Partner with cross-functional leadership and staff to analyze educational needs, serving as a strategic consultant for inter-professional programs that ensure practice at the highest extent of licensure. Utilize specialized tools and measurements to evaluate the achievement of learning goals, managing high-level performance standards and clinical competency processes across the organization. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required Work Experience: Required professional licensure at time of hire What additional requirements you'll need We are seeking a candidate with Master's degree in Nursing (MSN), Education, or a related field. Certification in Nursing Professional Development (NPD-BC) or a clinical certification in a Perinatal specialty (e.g., RNC-OB, RNC-MNN). Three (3) years of recent clinical experience in a relevant perinatal setting. Demonstrated experience in curriculum design, instructional technology, and application of adult learning principles. Familiarity with ANCC accreditation standards and experience managing nurse residency or transition-to-practice programs.
