Squash Instructor & Coordinator

About the Role Lakeshore Sport & Fitness – Lakeshore - Illinois Center (211 N. Stetson Avenue, Chicago, IL) is seeking a Squash Instructor to teach private and group lessons at our premier club featuring five squash courts, a strong and growing junior program, and an active membership. Responsibilities Instruct members and guests using a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles. Teach techniques to improve skill level and maximize health from exercise routines during lessons. Deliver assigned classes and lessons on a timely basis. Respond to member/guest inquiries quickly and professionally. Provide excellent customer service with ongoing observation and interpersonal feedback of corrective measures during class participation. Assist the Head Professional with squash programming; additional hours available based on program participation. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum one year of experience teaching squash; prior experience in college or corporate settings a plus. Current nationally recognized squash certification is suggested but not mandatory. Ability to work daytime, evenings, weekends and up to 25 hours a week. Physical ability to sit, stand, walk and reach during lessons. Comfortable working with all age groups and building positive relationships with members. Friendly, outgoing, energetic, positive attitude. Exceptional organizational skills, time management, and communication. Must be able to work in the United States and live within 25 miles of Chicago.
