This Finance/Internal Audit Intern role supports Ameren Services, a division of nearly 1,400 employees providing essential administrative functions across business planning, financial support, human resources, and more, to Ameren Corporation and its affiliates. Tech Stack: Excel, PowerPoint, Word What You’ll Actually Do Analyze: Analyze and explain differences between budget and forecast figures. Update: Update existing schedules essential for annual labor rate calculations. Assist: Assist with the preparation of budgets as necessary. Document: Prepare and organize procedural documentation. Review: Review monthly financial accruals for accuracy. The Must-Haves Background: Must be a current graduate or undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or an MBA from an accredited college or university. Experience: Demonstrated good understanding of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Skills: Strong analytical abilities, effective communication, and teamwork capabilities.
