Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our property management team in Tucson, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management accounting, excellent attention to detail, and hands-on Yardi experience. This position is responsible for managing the accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of multifamily properties and working closely with property management and ownership. Key Responsibilities Manage accounting for a portfolio of multifamily properties Prepare monthly financial statements and owner reports Perform bank, general ledger, and balance sheet reconciliations Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable Manage property income and expense reporting Perform monthly and year-end closing procedures Review financial transactions and resolve discrepancies Maintain accurate accounting records in Yardi Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis Prepare and analyze property-level financial reports Work closely with property managers, vendors, and ownership Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Required Qualifications: 3+ years of property management accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles Experience with monthly financial reporting and month-end close Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Highly organized and detail-oriented Ability to manage multiple properties accounting and deadlines independently Preferred Experience Budgeting and forecasting Rent rolls and tenant ledgers CAM reconciliations Salary: Based on experience and qualifications.
