Your Core Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and devising personalized care solutions
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in collaboration with physicians or independently based on your credentials
• Offering education to patients and families regarding prevention, wellness strategies, and managing diseases
• Prescribing medications and therapies as permitted by your practice scope

Qualifications You'll Need

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license for the state of Missouri
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to acquire these within 90 days)
