Vascular Sonographer

Pay Range:
$34.21 - $51.31

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

HSHS is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to work at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Ideal candidates are patient focused mission driven individuals comfortable working independently with all age groups using a variety of imaging equipment and systems.

Position Specifics:
• Imaging Focus: Vascular
• Core Function: Imaging
• Schedule: 40 hours weekly, 4 - 10 hour shifts 630am-5pm, every 4th weekend rotation 7am-7pm, on call once a week from 5pm-7pm
• Facility: St. Elizabeth's Hospital
• Location: O'Fallon, IL
• Sign on Bonus: $15,000

Education Qualifications

• Graduate of or currently enrolled in an allied health program is required.
• Associates degree in allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

• Experience in ultrasound/sonography preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) or a Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required.
• OR must be eligible to sit for the RVT or RVS exam AND must obtain registry within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
