Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Take on a meaningful assignment as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting Extended School Year (ESY) services this summer just outside Boston, MA. This contract role is perfect for a speech therapist seeking a short-term opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of young students during their summer session. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Massachusetts SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Previous experience in school settings, especially with Early Childhood or K-12 populations, strongly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based practices in speech therapy
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students participating in ESY programs
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Prepare materials and maintain records in compliance with school policies and legal requirements
- Adapt sessions to meet individual needs and promote communication success
- Act as a resource for students, staff, and families regarding speech-language concerns
Position Highlights:
- Summer contract from July 6th through August 14th, 2026
- Monday through Thursday schedule, 8:30am–12:00pm, totaling 14 hours per week
- Located in a welcoming school community near Boston, MA
- Ideal for SLPs seeking a supplemental assignment or flexible summer work
