- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients utilizing both standardized assessments and observational insights.
- Craft individualized treatment plans that target both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
- Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions focusing on communication, fluency, language, voice, and swallowing functions.
- Engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including physical and occupational therapists, medical staff, family members, and caregivers to implement cohesive care plans.
- Provide educational information and resources to patients and their families to foster progress outside therapy sessions.
- Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout treatment.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation compliant with state and organizational standards.
- Commit to professional development and continuing education to remain abreast of industry advancements.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a clinical fellowship year (CFY) prior to obtaining ASHA certification, if necessary.
- State licensure as a Speech Language Therapist .
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate is required within 30 days of hire.
