Phlebotomist- Part Time

Job Overview Position: Phlebotomist – Springfield, NJ Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 12:00pm Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent. 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency (in lieu of work experience). Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation and flexibility to work overtime as needed. Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Pay Range Pay: $17.75 – $24.00 per hour Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible for all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
