Accounts Receivable Specialist

Tarvos Talent is partnering with a growing and well-established manufacturing company, is seeking a Bilingual Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an AR professional who enjoys building customer relationships, managing collections, and ensuring timely payment of outstanding receivables in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and have experience supporting accounts receivable functions within a manufacturing, distribution, industrial, or product-based organization. Key Responsibilities Collect outstanding receivables and follow up with customers regarding past-due invoices and payment status. Maintain positive customer relationships while effectively managing collections activities. Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and proactively address delinquent accounts. Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, deductions, and customer disputes. Process customer payments and apply cash receipts accurately. Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate account records. Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding account balances, payment arrangements, and account inquiries. Partner with internal teams including Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to resolve customer account issues. Generate customer statements, collection notices, and AR reports. Assist with month‑end close activities and account reconciliations. Maintain detailed documentation of collection efforts and customer communications within the ERP system. Qualifications 2+ years of Accounts Receivable, Collections, Billing, or Credit experience. Manufacturing, distribution, industrial, construction, or product-based industry experience preferred. Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written communication). Strong customer service and relationship‑building skills. Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics, JD Edwards, or similar. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
