Medical Front Desk Scheduler & Insurance Verification (Part-Time)

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Front Desk Scheduler & Insurance Verification Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing patient appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and providing excellent customer service at the front desk. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and able to multitask.

Key Responsibilities:

* Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner

* Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments

* Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments

* Obtain and update patient demographic and insurance information

* Communicate with insurance companies regarding coverage and authorizations

* Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances

* Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries

* Maintain accurate and organized patient records

* Ensure compliance with HIPAA and office policies

* Bilingual abilities are a plus
