Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose, and manage common pediatric conditions such as asthma, allergies, infectious diseases, and developmental concerns.
• Deliver wellness care through routine examinations, vaccinations, and health screenings, actively promoting preventive health measures.
• Engage in family education, providing guidance on nutrition, physical activity, and overall health, empowering parents with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their child's well-being.
• Utilize the EMR system to document clinical findings and treatment plans accurately and comprehensively, ensuring continuity of care.
• Collaborate with school staff and other healthcare professionals during care team meetings to develop individualized care plans tailored to each child’s needs.
• Respond to acute health concerns and emergencies, implementing appropriate interventions as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is on pediatric patients ranging from infancy through adolescence. Working in a school setting allows you to connect with children in their familiar environment, fostering trust and encouraging them to express their health concerns openly. Qualifications

• Board certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner is required.
• A valid Nurse Practitioner license to practice in New York State.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of experience in an outpatient pediatric setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 150,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, the compensation package includes:
