Work Environment

The typical work schedule allows for either a five-day work week or a four-day work week, with hours from 10 AM to 6 PM or 11 AM to 7 PM, providing flexibility and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physician Assistant in our Interventional Pain Management practice, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough patient consultations and follow-up evaluations, which involve reviewing medical histories and performing physical exams.
• Performing advanced interventional procedures like ultrasound-guided trigger point injections, nerve blocks, and joint injections to provide targeted pain relief.
• Analyzing patient lab results and diagnostic studies to track treatment efficacy and modify plans as needed.
• Caring for both acute and chronic pain patients by monitoring therapy progress, administering injections, performing minor office surgical procedures, and prescribing necessary medications.
• Documenting all pertinent information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system, utilizing Modernizing Medicine, to ensure efficient patient tracking.
• Coordinating care with physical therapists, acupuncturists, and chiropractors to provide a well-rounded approach to pain management.
• Responding promptly to patient calls and medical emergencies to maintain high-quality care standards.
• Engaging in health promotion techniques while respecting patient confidentiality and fostering trust.
• Actively engaging in community outreach to promote our services and generate new patient referrals.
• Providing compassionate and expert medical advice, instilling hope in patients facing pain challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient population consists of individuals experiencing acute and chronic pain conditions who seek relief and improved quality of life. Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably within pain management or a related field.
• A valid state license and certification to practice as a Physician Assistant.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

• Experience with EMR systems, specifically Modernizing Medicine.
• Prior work in outpatient pain management centers.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 140,000 to 180,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to this base salary, we provide additional performance bonuses of up to $20,000, fostering a results-driven culture.
