Operations Manager @ Fusion Fund in Palo Alto, CA

Role Description This is a full time, on‑site role as an Operations Manager located in Palo Alto, CA. In this role, you’ll own projects from idea to execution while working directly with fund leadership. This role will develop, implement, and oversee strategies that ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations, collaborate with the investment team to maximize productivity, provide regular reports on performance and progress, and identify and resolve operational issues. This is a chance to shape the operational foundation of a fast‑growing institutional venture firm while learning the VC business from the ground up. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in relevant field 2 – 4 years of experience in operations roles or related fields Experience in a fast‑paced startup environment is preferred, experience in VC is also a plus Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail Strong communication and leadership skills Experience developing and implementing operational policies and procedures Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform decision‑making and problem‑solving Experience with project management and budgeting Proficiency in Airtable, Notion and Office Strong event planning and coordination skills Compensation and Benefits The base salary range for this position is $100,000 – $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
