We provide both skilled nursing and non-medical home care and depend on a strong team of caregivers and nurses to provide exceptional care to our clients. We are growing and looking for an experienced recruiter who understands the fast-paced nature of healthcare and home care recruiting. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Home Care Recruiter to own our caregiver and nursing recruitment pipeline. This is a recruiting-focused position, not a traditional HR generalist role. Your primary responsibility will be attracting, engaging, interviewing and hiring qualified caregivers, HHAs, CNAs, RNs and LPNs while maintaining a strong pipeline to support our current clients and continued growth. The right person will understand that successful recruiting isn't simply generating applicants or making hires. Success means moving qualified candidates efficiently through the hiring and onboarding process and ultimately getting dependable caregivers ready and available to work. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Merrillville, Indiana. Key Responsibilities Own the recruiting pipeline for caregivers, HHAs, CNAs, RNs and LPNs Source qualified candidates through job boards, referrals, social media and proactive recruiting strategies Respond quickly to qualified applicants and maintain consistent candidate communication Interview candidates and make hiring recommendations Coordinate offers, pre-employment requirements, onboarding and orientation Maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates based on current and anticipated staffing needs Work closely with the Customer Care/Scheduling team to understand specific caregiver and nursing needs Recruit proactively for difficult-to-fill shifts, geographic areas and client needs Manage job postings and continuously evaluate which recruiting sources produce quality hires Utilize our applicant tracking system and AI-assisted recruiting tools to move candidates efficiently through the pipeline Personally engage promising candidates when human follow-up is needed to keep them moving forward Track recruiting performance from applicant through hire, onboarding and activation Coordinate CareAcademy onboarding and required training Maintain accurate recruiting and onboarding documentation Participate in caregiver recruiting events and develop new recruiting sources and partnerships Continually look for ways to improve recruiting results, speed and candidate experience What We're Looking For 2+ years of professional recruiting experience required; home care, home health, healthcare staffing, senior care or nursing recruitment experience strongly preferred Demonstrated success recruiting caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, nurses or other healthcare professionals preferred Experience managing a high-volume recruiting pipeline Strong interviewing and candidate-assessment skills Excellent phone and interpersonal communication skills Strong sense of urgency and follow-through Comfortable being accountable to measurable recruiting goals Self-motivated and able to manage the recruiting function with limited supervision Comfortable learning and using ATS, automation and AI-assisted recruiting technology Strong organizational and time-management skills Consistent employment history and demonstrated reliability Ability to work effectively with scheduling and operations teams Compensation & Benefits $52,000 – $60,000 annual salary, based on experience Quarterly L10 performance bonus equal to 3% of annual salary each quarter (up to approximately 12% annually when goals are achieved) Health insurance through Vitable Health, with optional dental and vision coverage 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Paid Time Off and Sick Pay Weekly pay with direct deposit Mileage reimbursement ZayZoon Pay on Demand – access earned wages instantly Vitable Health Includes: $0 copay primary care (in-person & virtual) $0 copay mental health therapy and life coaching Nearly 1,000 prescriptions at no cost Household coverage included This is an opportunity to take ownership of a critical function within a growing home care organization.
