Field Care & Recruitment Specialist ComForCare Home Care – North Austin Location: Round Rock / North Austin Area Position: Field Care & Recruitment Specialist ComForCare Home Care – North Austin is looking for a highly dependable, organized, and people-focused Field Care & Recruitment Specialist who can help us recruit great caregivers while also ensuring our clients receive a strong, professional start to their care. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people, being out in the field, recruiting caregivers, and solving problems. Your Role This position has two key areas of responsibility: Field Care & Client Support You will serve as an important connection between our office, caregivers, and clients. Responsibilities include: Meet new clients and understand their care plan, needs, preferences, and expectations . Introduce caregivers to clients for first-time shifts and help ensure a smooth start of care. Review care plan expectations with caregivers and make sure they understand their responsibilities. Conduct client check-ins, supervisory visits, reassessments, and other field visits as assigned. Observe caregiver/client compatibility and communicate concerns or changes to the office team. Coach caregivers in the field when additional guidance is needed. Help identify potential client or caregiver issues before they become larger problems . Maintain professional communication with clients, families, caregivers, and the office team. Caregiver Recruitment You will help us continuously build a strong caregiver team so we can meet the needs of our growing client base. Responsibilities include: Recruit qualified caregivers through job boards, referrals, community outreach, and other recruiting channels. Screen applicants for experience, professionalism, availability, reliability, and overall fit. Conduct caregiver interviews. Follow up consistently with qualified applicants and move candidates efficiently through the hiring process. Assist with orientations and onboarding. Verify that required hiring documentation is completed before caregivers are activated. Maintain an active pipeline of caregivers based on current and anticipated client needs. Work closely with scheduling and operations to understand where and when caregivers are needed most . Support caregiver retention through communication, engagement, and early identification of concerns. Flexible — understands that home care is a dynamic environment and priorities can change quickly. Preferred Qualifications Experience in home care, senior care, healthcare staffing, recruiting, HR, or a related field preferred. Experience interviewing or recruiting hourly employees is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable using scheduling, applicant-tracking, and other computer systems. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes throughout our service area. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
