Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing psychological services in a dynamic K-12 educational setting. This contract opportunity is ideally suited for a skilled school psychologist ready to support learners across a variety of grade levels and participate in the ABLE Autism program. Flexibility is key, with options for both part-time (3 days) and full-time (up to 5 days) schedules, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 3pm. The assignment begins ASAP and runs through December, covering the first semester.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state-issued School Psychologist certification required
- Experience working with K-12th grade students, including those with autism and diverse needs
- Strong understanding of special education processes, including IEPs, evaluations, and eligibility determination
- Ability to administer assessments and interpret psychological testing results
- Solid communication skills with students, staff, and caregivers
- Collaborative approach and commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork
- Prior experience with autism support programs or ABLE Autism preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver direct services and consultative support for students in general and special education settings
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to foster positive educational outcomes
- Support social, emotional, and behavioral development, particularly within the ABLE Autism program
- Help create a safe and supportive school environment aligned with best practices
