Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients to establish individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs and goals.
• Manage a patient caseload with one-on-one sessions, dedicating one hour per patient to ensure focused attention and effective treatment.
• Employ a variety of manual therapy techniques along with therapeutic exercise programs to increase patient mobility and range of motion.
• Regularly assess and adjust treatment strategies to align with patient progress, ensuring optimal recovery outcomes.
• Implement evidence-based practices to design rehabilitation programs that aim to reduce pain and enhance physical capabilities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care tailored to each individual's needs.
• Document patient care and treatment results meticulously, utilizing EMR software, specifically WebPT, to maintain accurate patient records.
• Motivate patients throughout their therapy journey, providing support and encouragement to help them achieve their health and wellness goals.
• Evaluate and enhance the safety and effectiveness of treatment strategies to reduce the need for medications and invasive procedures whenever possible.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle within the patient population, emphasizing the importance of strength training, flexibility, balance, and overall fitness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on orthopedic patients recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. You will utilize your expertise to create customized rehabilitation programs that address diverse needs, ranging from postoperative recovery to improving athletic performance. Our holistic approach ensures that we consider not only physical aspects but also psychological and social factors affecting patient recovery, aiming to treat the entirety of the individual's experience.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Must have valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist and maintain an unblemished professional record, free of disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically WebPT, is required for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, enhancing the ability to address patient needs effectively.
• A background working collaboratively within a team environment to deliver optimal patient care.
• Engagement with ongoing professional development, including certifications in specialized therapy techniques, is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
