Work Environment

Our modern rehabilitation facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology and spacious work areas, promoting an effective therapeutic atmosphere. As a pivotal member of our team, you will be one of three physical therapists, collaborating closely with a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to ensure that every patient receives exceptional care. The work schedule is structured from Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand the unique goals and requirements of each patient, developing tailored treatment strategies to address their specific challenges.
• Manage a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and quality care.
• Utilize your prior experience in orthopedic outpatient care to offer evidence-based, practical treatment options.
• Implement cost-effective interventions that enhance patient mobility while minimizing reliance on medication and exploring non-surgical pathways.
• Create and adjust individualized care plans incorporating manual therapy techniques, functional exercise programs, and wellness initiatives.
• Encourage patients throughout their treatment, employing motivational strategies to improve their physical function and adherence to rehabilitation.
• Foster a collaborative environment by interacting with other healthcare professionals, sharing insights, and coordinating care.
• Track patient progress meticulously, document care services provided, and actively evaluate treatment efficacy to adapt therapies as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve primarily comprise individuals undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic-related conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain management. Our population typically holds private insurance, reflecting a diverse range of ages and activity levels, presenting unique challenges and opportunities for engagement in rehabilitative care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of California; no instances of disciplinary actions or board actions on the license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the creation of effective exercise programs.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to ensure streamlined documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is required, candidates with additional expertise in sports medicine treatment, advanced manual therapy, or specialized rehabilitation protocols are encouraged to apply. Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
