A confidential regional U.S. law firm is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to join a busy employer-side practice focused on defending and advising employers in employment disputes. This is a litigation-forward role with meaningful responsibility, regular client contact, and the opportunity to build long-term experience across state and federal courts and administrative agencies.

THE ROLE

- Defend employers in employment-related disputes, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, hostile work environment, and wrongful termination matters

- Handle wage and hour claims, whistleblower allegations, workplace investigations, and restrictive covenant issues as needed

- Draft pleadings, dispositive and non-dispositive motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal memoranda

- Manage case strategy, deadlines, and client communications in a fast-paced litigation environment

- Support hearings, mediations, and trial preparation (trial experience welcomed but not required)

LOCATION, SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

Location:

New Hampshire

Schedule:

Hybrid, in office 3 days per week

Compensation:

Base salary range: $105,000 to $110,000

REQUIREMENTS

- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school

- Active New Hampshire bar admission, or ability to obtain admission within 6 to 12 months

- 2 to 5 years of litigation experience (employment litigation experience is a plus)

- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda

- Strong communication skills and comfort with direct client interaction

- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines efficiently

PREFERRED BACKGROUND

- Employer-side employment litigation experience

- Public employer and labor experience

- Judicial clerkship experience

- Some trial or evidentiary hearing exposure
