Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Highrise Reception in Los Angeles CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a hotel and resort location you will welcome guests manage visitor access monitor security-related activity and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will serve as a visible approachable presence helping to deter incidents while supporting a positive guest experience. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to hotel and resort guests visitors and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures front desk policies and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Greet and direct guests and visitors maintain a professional front desk presence and assist with access-related questions in accordance with location procedures.
• Monitor entry activity verify authorized access as required and document visitor information deliveries and other front desk activity.
• Respond to incidents guest concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports for incidents access-related activity and shift communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
