Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An educational opportunity is available for a Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students, providing telehealth services within a school setting in Phoenix, AZ. This contract position focuses on delivering specialized instruction and support to DHH students remotely, ensuring accessibility and tailored learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing through telehealth platforms.
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt curriculum to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Collaborate with families, audiologists, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
• Monitor and assess student performance, adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
• Utilize technology effectively to enhance remote learning experiences.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
• Experience working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in an educational setting.
• Proficiency with telehealth methods and educational technologies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate students remotely.
• Knowledge of hearing assistive technology and accommodations.
