Senior Project Manager

Role Description

The Senior Project Manager will oversee all aspects of projects, leading, coordinating, and completing projects on time and within budget and scope. Responsibilities include:

• Establish project plans with deadlines.
• Assign responsibilities and monitor progress of projects.
• Coordinate with other departments to implement long and short projects that align technology solutions and improve operational workflow.
• Ensure deliverables are on-time and fall within the applicable scope and budget.
• Lead and direct the work of others, accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
• Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist in clearly defining the project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring operational and technical feasibility.
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
• Determine available resources and delegate project tasks based on individual strengths and capabilities.
• Set realistic time estimates, define activities, sequence activities, and estimate the duration of activities to develop and maintain schedules.
• Determine cost estimate and develop the project budget; submit budget for final review and approval from senior leadership.
• Ensure adherence to approved budget throughout the project.
• Monitor and manage project performance, including cost and team performance.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques; create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Identify and evaluate potential risks, including the development of contingency plans.
• Ensure customer satisfaction that the work scope is completed in a quality manner, within budget and on time.
• Keep the business owner/stakeholder updated to minimize uncertainty and avoid unwanted surprises through effective communication.
• Meet with business owners to review current project status reports.
• Perform other related duties as assigned, such as developing spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs.

Qualifications

• 4 year bachelor's degree.
• 4+ years RCM and healthcare project management experience.
• 4+ years leading RCM client integrations.
• Program and Project Management: 8+ years.
• Revenue Cycle: 4+ years.
• Healthcare: 4+ years.
• Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation, including AI.

Requirements

• This is a remote position; however, candidates must be willing and able to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs require.
• Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree, preferred.

• This position pays between $92,400 - $159,450 based on experience.
